Super Fly – Nikelab Free Train Force Flyknit X Riccardo Tisci

Nike is definitely thinking outside the shoebox these days. Case in point: the new Free Train Force Flyknit sneaker. Conceived by Italian fashion designer Ricardo Tisci in cooperation with Nike engineers, the Free Train Force Flyknit is an unmistakably stunning sneaker that either leaps out and grabs you by the ankles or gives you cold feet. However, even those turned off by such an ostentatious visual statement might still be converted when they try these babies on and sink those soles into a pure comfort zone.

Visually this is a sneaker that speaks for itself, but giving it plenty of extra flair is some true next-level support. To achieve that premium dynamic comfort the sneaker utilizes a dual-density midsole with stable cushioning and Flyknit uppers. The result is a perfect fit that allows for buoyancy and plenty of breathing room. Speaking of breathing, the outsole expands and contracts by way of an exetic tri-star pattern to accompany the flow of your foot during workouts.

The more we read about this shoe the more we take the “lab” in NikeLab seriously. Other features include flywire cables, a mid-rise collar, a wide forefoot and rubber on the outsole for traction. The collaboration between Nike and Tisci and is definitely a match made in sneaker heaven. We can’t wait to see what they come up with next.
