The Third Iteration of Moncler Genius Brings in a New Face

Earlier this week in Milan, Moncler Genius unveiled their lineup for 2020 and announced their ongoing collaboration with JW Anderson. The Northern Irish designer, known for his intuitive vision of gender-defying fashion, brings a unique design aesthetic offering a modern interpretation of masculinity and femininity through the cross-pollination of menswear and womenswear.

In what seems to be an overtly natural paring, JW Anderson’s (of LVMH fame) inclusion in the 2020 Moncler Genius evolution solidifies the fashion house as an open concept driven by experimentation and reinvention. He joins the house alongside Sergio Zambon and Veronica Leoni for 2 Moncler 1952, Sandro Mandrino for 3 Moncler Grenoble, Simone Rocha, Craig Green, Matthew Williams of 1017 ALYX 9SM, Fragment Hiroshi Fujiwara, Richard Quinn and Poldo Dog Couture.

What’s more, as Moncler Genius enters a new phase, going beyond the product and embracing the world of experience, it joins forces with iconic luggage brand RIMOWA to unveil a bold new travel concept. Welcoming in the Moncler RIMOWA “Reflection”, the two brands showcase novel innovations in technology, connectivity and communication in the digital age.

Joining Rimowa as a Moncler Collaborator is Copenhagen-based electric bicycle start-up Mate.bike. This pairing reaffirms Moncler Genius’ ability to push the once stagnant boundaries of the fashion world.
