Audemars Piguet has unveiled three new diamond variants to its iconic Royal Oak ‘Jumbo’ Extra Thin, bringing a new level of iced-out glam to your wrist. Arriving in three unique styles, the new Royal Oaks offer the same level of classic styling but with a refined pastel pallete, showcased in the pink gold and light blue dial variations.
As one of the most desired pieces in the AP lineup, the Royal Oak range has seen a massive resurgence in recent years, buoyed by a swelling marketplace and scarcity pushing prices way up. The latest update takes things to a whole new level. Presented in a 39mm size, the new Royal Oaks are available the pink gold and white gold 15202BC and 15202OR references. Stunning from the outset, these new timepieces feature the minimalist “Petite Tapisserie” pattern on the dial, with the hour markers copping a barrage of baguette-cut diamonds. The case, bezel and bracelet are further elevated with a whopping 1,102 brilliant-cut diamonds, equating to roughly 7 carats.
For fans of the baby blue, the light blue dial option can be customised, available with colour-coordinated Royal Oak hands with luminescent coating. You can also score a refined black dial with an 18-carat white gold case and hands, if classic styling is more to your taste. In signature AP style, the brand name is positioned below noon, with a further AP logo located in the lower portion of the dial, consistent with the “Jumbo” convention.
Under the hood, the new diamond Royal Oak ‘Jumbo’ Extra Thin is powered by the Manufacture Calibre 2121 with bidirectional 22-carat gold oscillating weight, visible through the glare-proofed sapphire caseback. Best of all, Audemars Piguet has finished each new model with a matching diamond-set bracelet and folding clasp. The three new diamond-set Audemars Piguet Royal Oak “Jumbo” Extra-Thin models are currently available through an authorised dealer.
