Birdie Watch Collector’s Edition is all about Timing

Birdwell and WEISS collaborated on putting together a collector’s edition of ten watches. Their second watch is available in November. If the first watch of the series is any indication—it sold out almost as soon as it was posted—then the second watch won’t be available for long.

The watch figures the original Birdie logo, which was designed by Mike Salisbury. The watch’s hands are the mascot’s arms and hands, with the shaka being used to distinguish between the hours and minutes. The chronograph features an “endless wave,” which was conceived by Creative Director Natas Kaupas. The watch measures 42mm in diameter and 12.8mm in thickness. Made of Titanium, each case features an engraved issued number on the back. The dial face is woodland camo, which coordinates with the olive drab nylon NATO strap. A Weiss Caliber 1003 provides the mechanism. The watch is a manual winder with a power reserve of 46 hours.

The watch is a fun departure from the ordinary, and a reminder that we should follow suit. No sense in wasting away at work when there’s a world of fun out there.
