Glashütte Original SeaQ Panorama Date is Refinement Manifest
German watchmaker Glashütte Original has unveiled two new versions of its SeaQ dive watch that blend classic watchmaking with modern technology for what the brand describes as both fascinating and expressive. The new Glashütte timepieces dubbed the SeaQ Panorama Date models are available now in a red gold version with black dial and in stainless steel and red gold with a grey dial.
Glashütte Original introduced the SeaQ diver’s watch in 2019, inspired by its first-ever diver’s watch—the Spezimatic Type RP TS 200 from 1969. Fast track to 2020 and the new SeaQ Panorama Date models should appeal to fans of classic, luxury timepieces and professional divers alike.

The new SeaQ Panorama Date models feature unidirectional rotating bezels with a perceptible minute-click to guarantee reliability underwater. A ceramic inlay gives the rotating bezel, which is fashioned in red gold, a scratchproof surface.
The Arabic numerals, rod indexes, hour, minute and second hands are applied with galvanic gold and feature generous Super-LumiNova inlays. The Super-LumiNova coated triangle that marks the start of the dive further adds to the safe diving experience. The SeaQ Panorama Date is water-resistant to a depth of around 300 metres. Numerous details, including the screw-down crown and the centrally screwed sapphire crystal caseback, make this depth possible.
Panorama Date models run the award-winning Calibre 36 that beats within a 43.2-millimetre red gold or stainless steel case and is optimised for accuracy, stability, running time and aesthetics. The run time comes in at a lengthy 100 hours.
