Gucci has revealed an interesting new watch concept called Grip. The unique design is said to blend the timeless appeal of the brand with a highly contemporary style.
Unveiled during Baselworld 2019, the Gucci Grip collection comprises four new quartz watches. Each watch features a square case with rounded edges and three windows, in which three white rotating disks indicate the hour, minute, and date. Grip is powered by Swiss Made Ronda quartz movement and is water resistant to 30m.
Of the four, one edition brings together a yellow gold PVD case and yellow gold PVD bracelet, both engraved with Gucci’s signature Interlocking G logo. Another variant is worked purely in steel for a sleek, modern look that combines effortlessly with different outfits. Adding a touch of colour to the line, two further editions are offered with striking calf leather straps: green with a steel case, or Bordeaux with a yellow gold PVD case.
Gucci has pegged Grip as a perfect choice for both men and women who appreciate clean yet eye-catching design with vintage appeal. There’s currently no word on pricing or release date for these beauties, although it’s a safe bet that we will see them over the next few months.
