It’s a dusty, coral, rose colour that was once reserved for the upmarket sophistication of Melrose Avenue, but now, Swiss watchmaker Hublot is reimagining the hue for 2020. Working with luxury custom-design firm Garage Italia, Hublot has just unveiled the Big Bang in Millennial Pink.

“Hublot pieces have always been unisex,” says Ricardo Guadalupe, the CEO of Hublot, “and this piece is a celebration of the inclusivity of fashion and design belonging to all genders, a vision shared by Lapo and the Garage Italia Team.” While the colour may be unisex, the size is still pretty big, with the case measuring 42 mm. It’s made of a satin-finished and polished aluminium anodised to the pink colour, and comes with a matching bezel. The same colour appears on the skeletonised dial, which also features white luminescence. Topping off the Millennial Pink colour scheme is the knit Velcro strap as well as the alternate rubber strap. Inside the case is an in-house UNICO chronograph movement with a 72-hour power reserve. The watch is water-resistant up to 100 meters.
