To celebrate its extended partnership with the International Cricket Council, Hublot has created the Classic Fusion Chronograph \u201cThe Ashes\u201d edition, as seen on the wrist of former Australian Captain Michael Clarke.\r\nDuring an exclusive event held at the iconic Sydney Cricket Ground, Hublot and Clarke detailed the timepiece and its unique features including distinct symbols associated with cricket. The two watch hands are designed in the shape of cricket bats and at 12 o\u2019 clock is a triple applique referring to the stumps. The sapphire glass caseback also bears the Ashes emblem.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nThe grey casing and dial reference the official colour of the Ashes while the calfskin watch strap is stitched with triple white saddle stitching to emulate the stitching of a cricket ball. It\u2019s a cricket-loving horologists dream come true.\r\n\r\nThe Classic Fusion Chronograph \u201cThe Ashes\u201d edition is limited to just 32 examples, referring to the number of series won by each team. The watches\u2019 exclusivity can also be seen in its price. The Ashes wristwatch will set you back $16,200.\r\n\r\nHublot was the first luxury brand to partner with the ICC and recently extended its long-term partnership covering all events through to 2020. This includes the ICC Champion\u2019s Trophy and the Women\u2019s World Cup both taking place this year.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nThe 2017-18 Ashes Series commences 23rd November. Michael Clarke will be present as a commentator.
