What does legend of the screen William Shatner and MMA fighter Georges St-Pierre have in common? Both have collaborated with Egard Watch Co. to design bespoke, luxury wristwatches.

The Rush is the newest limited edition collaboration, co-designed by St-Pierre to capture every aspect of his personality, both inside and out of the Octagon. Four years after creating the Passages timepiece with William Shatner, The Rush is athletic, sporty and bold, just like its MMA inspiration.

The Rush is every bit unique and edgy on the outside as it is accurate and powerful on the inside. It’s designed with an oblong case and original dial. The modified automatic Miyota 9100 movement means it runs tirelessly and effortlessly without a battery, plus it’s built tough thanks to the curved sapphire glass covering. Also water resistant up to 50 meters.
TAG Heuer x Bamford Personalized Watches Make a Great Thing Even Greater
On the face lie three concentric dials corresponding to minutes, hours, and seconds. The watch even comes with an AM/PM indicator, date window, day dial, month dial and even a power reserve meter that clocks out at 42 hours. The back of the watch comes embossed with the Superman Punch, GSP’s signature move, and an exhibition window, etched with St-Pierre’s signature.

The Rush is available on Kickstarter in a variety of colours and optional bands: Leather for stylish patrons, Rubber for the active patrons and Steel/Carbon-Fibre as a one-of-a-kind offering. The Rush has all the makings of a great watch. It’s bold, efficient, tough, and magnificent, much like St-Pierre. It will be interesting to see which legend Egard Watch Co. collaborate with next.

For more athlete endorsed timepieces, check out former Australian Cricket Captain Michael Clarke endorsing Hublot’s limited edition “Ashes” wristwatch.
Check it out

Have you subscribed to Man of Many?
