Montblanc kept the hits coming at SIHH 2019, expanding upon its iconic 1858 Collection. Taking inspiration from the great outdoors, the luxury brand introduced three new bronze and green models into the line-up. Among them is a new 1858 Geosphere Limited Edition, which puts world time movement and turning hemisphere globes within a tapestry of green and bronze. Last year’s Geosphere was a huge hit and we expect nothing less from this latest incarnation.
The new Geosphere is joined by an 1858 Automatic Chronograph Limited Edition, and an 1858 Automatic Limited Edition. Both pieces are restricted to just 1858 units. The chronograph variant combines a 42mm case of bronze and titanium with a green dial and dual-register chronograph. It’s water resistant to 100m and powered by Calibre MB 25.11. The 1858 Automatic Limited Edition, meanwhile, hosts a 40mm case in either bronze and titanium. Under the green dial is Calibre 24.15 movement.
If the combination of bronze and green isn’t grabbing you, a non-limited 1858 automatic in steel and black is available at a lower price point. Should you stick with the bronze and green colourway, however, you’ll be slapping something special around your wrist.
