Panerai Introduces Unique Green Dial Watches
There is an overabundance of silver, black, brown and white watches on the market. It is amazing how much a simple change in colour can transform a watch. This is evident with Panerai’s new Green Dial watches. The Swiss watchmaker just introduced a new line of sporty watches in a forest green colour.
The new line of Green Dial Watches include a Radiomir 8 Days Titanio, Radiomir 1940 3 Days Acciaio and a Luminor 1950 Chrono Monopulsante 8 Days GMT Titanio. All three watches share a vibrant green dial. The strap is a deep brown colour that has contrasting beige stitching. The Panerai logo is stamped on the strap. The watches have gilded hands, beige hour markers and a Panerai hand-winding movement made in-house.
The Radiomir 1940 3 Days Acciaio features an elegant, simple 47mm case with lugs incorporated into the case. The indications on the dial are beige with Super-LumiNova. They feature linear hour markers and large figures. There is also a small seconds counter and a date window located at 3 o’clock.
Featuring a 45mm brushed titanium case, the Radiomir 8 Days Titanio is elegant and timeless. Similar to other Radiomir 8 Days Titanio models, there are characteristic wire loop strap attachments and a conical winding crown. The design of the dial and case is minimalist with clear indications and balanced colours.
The Luminor Monopulsante has a 44mm brushed titanium case. It features the classic bridge lever device that was patented by Panerai in the 1950s. This device helps ensure the water resistance of the watch. It also protects the winding crown. The bezel features a smooth polished finish. A push button controls the reset, start and stop operations of the chronograph.
All three watches are exceptional in both design and function. You can’t go wrong by adding any of them to your watch collection.
