Danish watchmaker Skagen is expanding its portfolio to include its first ever touchscreen smartwatch. Powered by Android Wear 2.0 and the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 platform, Skagen\u2019s Falster smartwatch is the perfect balance of form and function\u2014modern, minimalist design with added technology that simplifies rather than complicates, and connects rather than distracts.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\u201dOne of our goals with Skagen\u2019s smartwatches is to make technology feel more familiar and approachable. The dials are simple while visually balanced, showing information in an edited and informative way, without unnecessary clutter.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nAs it's a smartwatch, Falster includes all of the smart features you\u2019ve come to expect from the technology. These include: voice commands, call and text notifications, activity tracking, music control, plus customisable apps, watch faces and more.\r\n\r\nTrue to the spirit of \u2018hygge\u2019 - a Danish concept of comfort and connection, the Falster keeps users connected to loved ones and encourages them to feel more mindful while interacting with technology.\r\n\r\nThe Skagen Falster touchscreen smartwatch will be available in four colourways, with leather and mesh straps in both stainless steel and rose from the end of February 2018.
