Australia’s longest running jeweller Fairfax & Roberts is celebrating 160 years of operating in Sydney by adding 3 Swiss watch brands to its line-up. The first being luxury watchmaker Schwarz Etienne.

Available exclusively through Fairfax & Roberts, Schwarz Etienne is a lesser-known but highly creative brand that handcrafts watches with just one artisan responsible for everything from design through to the build and decoration. Production of each watch is extremely limited and they arrive in some seriously stylish packaging.

“The opportunity to bring Schwarz Etienne’s exquisite watches to Australian connoisseurs is one that we are truly excited about,” says Georgina Brujic, CEO, Fairfax & Roberts. “This is a brand that aligns perfectly with our own philosophies around craftsmanship and integrity – with the ability to surprise and delight - and we look forward to sharing that with our customers.”

Schwarz Etienne was established in 1902 during the golden age of Swiss watchmaking. Today, the brand is revered for its high-value and innovative mechanical timepieces and movements. Schwarz Etienne has enjoyed great success and even produced watches for brands like Dunhill, Coventry, Jaguar, Chanel and Mauboussin.

There are 25 Schwarz Etienne designs spread across 3 unique watch models: La Chaux-de-Fonds, Roma and Roswel. They are available exclusively at Fairfax & Roberts from June 28. As for the other two Swiss brands coming to Fairfax & Roberts, we’ll keep you posted.
Check it out

Have you subscribed to Man of Many?
