Like everyone’s favourite newsreader Ron Burgundy, the moon landing is kind of a big deal. To celebrate Neil, Buzz and the rest of the crew making their iconic lunar trip, Anicorn teamed up with NASA to launch a limited edition 50th Anniversary Moon Landing watch – the hero item of the Lunar Sample Return Collection.
The Anicorn x Nasa collab is named after Neil Armstrong’s Moon Bag which the astronaut transported to the moon and used to collect moon dust and rock samples from the Sea of Tranquillity.
The Lunar Sample Returns Collection includes the anniversary watches, moon-scented potpourri, a t-shirt, bracelet and sample return carry bag. All items became available July 16 – the date Apollo 11 was launched and the goods are available in strictly limited quantities.
The Moon Smell Scented potpourri imagines the scent/taste of the moon, specially created according to the description of moon dust on NASA’s official website. NASA says its astronauts describe moondust as smelling like burnt gunpowder. The Anicorn potpourri will likely smell more appealing. The potpourri comes in a silver NASA-branded capsule and is limited to 120 units.
The limited-edition watch features the “Time Orbits” concept, where multiple geometric metal plates construct the unique face. Full Specs are available below. The Anicorn x NASA watch is limited to 300 examples.
