Chanel Extrait de Camélia Collection

Gabrielle Chanel, also known as “Coco Chanel”, long lauded the camellia as her favourite flower, drawing from it as an endless source of inspiration through her generations of stylistic pioneering. Fast forward to 2021, and Chanel has reintroduced the brand’s beloved camellia flower into its family with the Extrait de Camélia Collection. The Première Extrait de Camélia perfectly symbolises the relationship between the fashion house and the blossoming flower in two variations both with a yellow gold case, one with a black-lacquered dial, and the other with a diamond-set dial. Both models will feature a yellow gold Camélia charm, with the diamond-dial model’s charm being encrusted with 26 brilliant-cut diamonds.

Longines Avigation BigEye Titanium

Originally re-launched in 2017 in a steel case, the acclaimed Longines Avigation BigEye is back, except this time it sports a titanium case with a blue gradient dial. Everything else is very much the same as the original re-edition from 2017. Same case dimensions, same dial proportions and layout, and the same movement. But I feel that the titanium version is far more charismatic and endearing to look at. We really like that blue dial which contrasts well with the black sub-dials and faux-patina hands, as well as the bold hour numerals. Not groundbreaking, but enough to cause a stir. Really like it.
