In collaboration with Pulsar.
The partnership between Pulsar and the V8 Supercars Championship is a big deal. Two powerhouses of modern engineering and high octane adventure collide to form an intense relationship that embodies the essence of both brands and in a literal sense, representing the word that’s on every Supercar drivers lips. ‘Time’. A driver’s life is all about time. Lap time, qualifying time, race time. That’s why every second counts, it can mean the difference between winning and losing. Staying or breaking from the pack. Every second counts is a new challenge and who would understand this better than a leading designer of quality timepieces?
The Pulsar brand has always been at the forefront of new technology, leading the industry and taking the world by storm with its creations. The ‘Pulsar Time Computer’ was unveiled in New York in 1972 as the world’s first electronic digital watch, changing everyone’s perception of time. The watch was built with an 18-karat gold case and featured a digital display illuminated by LEDs. It fit comfortably around the wrist no different to other wristwatches which is quite incredible when you consider that back then, computers filled up the space of entire rooms. Roger Moore even wore a stainless steel version of the Pulsar Time Computer in the 1972 007 film Live and Let Die.

Years later, the Pulsar brand joined the Seiko Corporation in developing timepieces that were precise, beautiful and revolutionary. In 1980, Pulsar surprised the world with the first ever calculator watch and followed this up the following year with the first all-quartz watch line, further cementing their achievements. In an age where space travel became a reality, and computer science was growing at breakneck speed, Pulsar’s designs were bold and inspiring, the perfect symbol of their time.
Today, Pulsar is one of the finest premium mid-range watch manufacturers on the planet, creating individualistic timepieces that are affordable, precise and built to last. Accommodating all tastes, Pulsar offers a broad range of watches catering to both male and female markets. Gold, stainless steel or genuine leather bands accompany the digital and analogue variants. The only thing left to do, is choose whether you prefer a simple yet elegant display with hour and minute hands or a more sophisticated display with further watch complications. Whichever you prefer, there’s no denying that Pulsar has consistently found the narrow path that unites radical design and widespread acclaim.
