G.H. Mumm produces some of the world’s finest champagne. Their collaboration with Welsh avant-garde designer Ross Lovegrove led to a dramatic reinterpretation of their classic champagne bottle. Breaking with tradition, the bottle will not have a front label. Instead, the Mumm name is printed directly on the glass in elegant gold lettering. The iconic Mumm Cordon Rouge red sash is now laser cut into the glass. The red sash dates back to 1876 and was inspired by the Légion d’Honneur, France’s highest civilian award.
The Grand Cordon champagne features aromas of exotic fruits such as ripe peaches and apricots, with notes of tropical lychee and pineapple. The flavours and freshness burst onto the palate with subtle bubbles. The colour is a clear and bright golden hue. G.H. Mumm’s founding values of passion, audacity and innovation are epitomised by the iconic new Mumm bottle.
