Two great things in life are festivals and meat. And for our Sydney-based readers, you are in luck. The Meatstock Festival will be held at the Sydney Showgrounds in February, on the 13th and 14th so you can celebreate a romantic Valentine’s Day over some red meat. Tickets just recently went on sale for the event, which is going to feature a variety of bands, barbecues, beards, butchers, bourbon, barbers, beer and more. The festival is more than just an excuse to devour steaks in public though – it actually has a couple of very interesting components.
There will be five main events – the Barbecue Wars, Butcher Wars, Barber Wars, the Meat and Barbecue Expo and to bring it all together, a strong line-up of Blues and Country bands. And with BBQ staples like Tuffy Stone, Jess Pryles and more in the house, it will be a celebrity-filled event. That is of course if you follow the meat world as closely as we do. The festival sounds like it’ll be a great time and a unique offering for Sydney – tickets are available now at meatstock.com.au while they last.
