Fieldwork Brewing has changed beer with its Broken Clouds IPA. Set with the mission of “waging war on the sweet and malty Double IPAs of the world,” Broken Cloud boasts to have an aroma that pulls you in. The flavor is filled with notes of pineapple, honeydew, grapefruit, and stair fruit that blend to give it a fruity and juicy flavor that is at the same time dry and crisp.
The brewing company behind Broken Clouds, Fieldwork, is based out of Berkeley, California, and serves the Berkeley, Monterey, Napa, Sacramento, and San Mateo areas. Most of their beers are available in 32 and 64 ounce growlers and 32 ounce Crowlers. A limited-release can was introduced in 2016.
With an archive displaying over 150 different beers, Fieldwork has created an impressive brewing resume. Broken Clouds fits right in with their other offerings. Given all their experience, they’re not going to be creating a foul beer, so take a chance on Broken Clouds the next time you’re in the Northern California area. You won’t be disappointed.
