George Dickel TABASCO Brand Barrel Finish Whiskey Kombats the Typical

If you’re a fan of Mortal Kombat, then you’re familiar with the concept of “Fatalities.” Well, so is George Dickel TABASCO Brand Barrel Finish. In Mortal Kombat, you battle your foe to the point where they are wobbling on their feet and then, at the behest of the game, you “finish him,” coming in with a final move that has been dubbed the fatality. Now, we’re not saying that George Dickel TABASCO Brand Barrel Finish is going to rip your spine from your body, but the principle is still the same. The George Dickel whiskey half of this beverage comes in smooth, lulling you into a place of security and warmth. Then McIlhenny’s TABASCO sauce kicks in, finishing off the flavor with a spicy kick.

The process for creating the George Dickel Tabasco Brand Barrel Finish is simple. The whiskey is aged for 30 days in barrels that had been used for creation of TABASCO sauce. The residual pepper mash in the barrel imparts a spicy and flavorful finish for the whiskey. After the 30 days, the blend is then distilled with TABASCO Brand Pepper Sauce, further joining the two flavor profiles. The result is a smooth whiskey with a spicy kick. Critics have taken note; the whiskey recently won the 2018 San Francisco World Spirits Competition Gold Medal. But don’t take their word for it. The distiller recommends trying the whiskey as a shot with celery salt on the rim, pickle juice, or an ice chaser.
