Mathew McConaughey, Creative Director of Wild Turkey, has recently announced the launch of an exclusive music event, Wild Turkey Discovery Series Acoustic Session, with a mysterious twist – Aussies have to discover its secret location to attend the party. Headlined by music legends Boy & Bear, Aussies will have to unravel a series of McConaughey’s cryptic poems and elaborate hints that will be posted on the Wild Turkey social channels. All submissions need to be entered via this link by the 13th of November, 2022. Select fans who make the discovery and secure their spot will receive a virtual congratulations from the man himself.
Matthew McConaughey said, “Trusting yourself, your instincts and spirit are the key to discovery and will always lead you down the right path in life, or a road up north. For this reason, Wild Turkey and Boy & Bear are challenging Aussies to let go of the monotony of the last few years and let yourselves discover again.
“Wild Turkey Discovery Series Acoustic Session fuels this spirit, however it’s more than discovery, it’s for the love of the wilderness, and the enjoyment of bourbon and most of all, music. So, sit back, check into the words and Trust Your Spirit – I’ll be waiting patiently to congratulate those who take on the journey.”

Those who embrace the journey of discovery will have the chance to experience an exclusive and intimate set with Boy & Bear and receive a warm welcome from the dulcet tones of McConaughey – all with a Wild Discovery Series in hand.
Wild Turkey has also announced an additional nature-loving initiative for October and November. Throughout these two months, a portion of proceeds from sales of its new ready-to-drink Discovery Series will be donated to Wild Turkey’s ongoing charity partner, the Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife.
Those who trust their spirit and discover the location will need to head to the Wild Turkey Music website by the 13th of November 2022 and enter their guess for the location of our Wild Turkey Discovery Series Acoustic Session to be in with a chance of securing one of the exclusive double passes.
