Tanqueray Gin Brings Two New Statements to Australia

All you gin lovers out there are certainly familiar with Tanqueray gin, one of the world’s foremost brands. Well, get excited, because the award-winning label is bringing two new statements to our native shores. Dubbed Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla and Tanqueray Rangpur, the expressions deliver bold, one-of-a-kind citrus flavour, taking your next gin and tonic to a point of no return.

From Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla, expect bursts of Seville orange to emerge from a body of exquisite botanicals. While the flavour might be new, the ingredient goes all the way back to the brand’s roots. Specifically, Charles Tanqueray himself used to implement Seville oranges into his original recipe back in the 1830s. Mix the spirit with tonic, garnish with an orange slice, and prepare yourself for some smooth, sweet, and tangy sipping.

Tanqueray Rangpur

As one might imagine, Tanqueray Rangpur is similarly citrusy and refreshing. Named for a rare mandarin and lime hybrid fruit from Bangladesh, this delicious statement delivers a crisp, juicy punch. To achieve such brilliant flavour, the brand added Rangpur lime, ginger and bay leaves to its base of four botanicals. The result is classic gin with a palpable citrus edge.

Both statements arrive in Australia this month. For your convenience, we’ve included some cocktail recipes below:

Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla Negroni

Ingredients:

  • 25ml Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla
  • 25ml Red herbal liqueur
  • 25ml Sweet vermouth
  • Seville orange slice/peel

Method: 

  • Add ingredients to an Old-Fashioned glass full of ice.
  • Stir to mix.
  • Garnish with Seville orange and serve.

Serves approx. 1.7 standard drinks

 

Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla Tanqueray & Tonic

Ingredients:

  • 50mls TANQUERAY Flor De Sevilla
  • 150ml Premium tonic water
  • 1 Wedge of Seville orange

Method:

  • Add all ingredients to a Highball glass full with ice.
  • Stir to mix.
  • Garnish and serve.

Serves approx. 1.7 standard drinks

 

TANQUERAY Rangpur Tanqueray & Tonic

Ingredients:

  • 50 ml Tanqueray Rangpur Gin
  • 150 ml Premium Tonic Water
  • Two Lemon Wedge
  • Sprig of Mint

Method:

  • Fill a copa glass to the top with quality cubed ice.
  • Pour 50 ml of Tanqueray Rangpur Gin
  • Follow with 150 ml of fresh premium tonic water.
  • Add a wedge of fresh lemon and a sprig of mint

Serves approx. 1.7 standard drinks
