It is said that the key to perfecting a craft beer recipe is balance, and any brewer worth their salt knows that balance is best achieved via practice, practice, practice. To demonstrate this obvious point, Sydney Beer Week‘s major sponsor, Four Points by Sheraton Sydney (that’s the new one at Chippendale’s Central Park) is bundling the two entities together for a morning of yoga to help guests perfect poise and posture, before taking them upstairs for a bottomless beer brunch, where they can, to a responsible degree, lose their newfound balance.
Kicking off at 10am on Saturday the 27th of this month, guests will enjoy an hour of vinyasa yoga on Chippendale Green hosted by one of Sydney’s best yoga instructors (that is well known as Life of Fee), to work up a sweat and find their happy place, before heading to the hotel’s terrace for a brunch curated by Malt Bar and Central Quarter Restaurant. Malt Bar, that’s right next door to the former Kent Brewery, has a beautiful open plan design ideal for socialising. The brunch will, as suggested by the title, offer bottomless beer to guests as a reward for their yoga-related efforts, from 11am-1pm. Guests can expect pours from the Hotel’s Best Brews Program including Sydney Brewery Potts Point Porter, Sydney Brewery Lovedale Lager and Sydney Brewery Cider. There’s also a yoga workout gift pack included in the cost of the ticket for guests to keep. AUD$70 gets you the whole shebang.
Suck at yoga or just have a general disdain for anything exercise related? That’s fine too. AUD$59 will get you a ticket to just the brunch, where you can still enjoy bottomless beer and delicious food, though probably with less of a sense of achievement (but conversely, also with less sweat on your brow).
Tickets are limited, and on sale now.
