We’ve finally found the perfect fitness program for pissheads. This July, The Beer Run is making its triumphant return to Sydney. Participants will run around five of the city’s best breweries, hydrating at each stop with a glass of liquid gold. While you may not like it, this is what peak Australian athletic performance looks like…

The event is straightforward: 5 beers, 5 breweries and 5 kilometres. The run starts at Rocks Brewing Co. Tap House before making its way to Willie the Boatman, onto Stockade Brew Co. Barrel Room, along the path to Philter Brewery Co. and finishing up at Sauce Brewing Co.
Taking between 2- 3 hours to complete (depending on how long you want to stop at each brewery), entrants will celebrate their accomplishment the right way: with more beer. We recommend grabbing your mates together early as The Beer Run has sold out all previous years, and 2022 looks no different.
A Sunday session like no other, The Beer Run takes place on July 24. Entry costs $55 per person, and each ticket includes an ice-cold frothy ale in each brewery, a Beer Run bib, and a medal that acts as a novelty beer opener. As the nature of the event, costumes and outfits are also highly encouraged.
