Tolberone Cheesecake spotted in Victoria

Coles Toblerone Cheesecake Spotted in Victoria

There’s a lot of turmoil in the world these days, but regardless of all the insanity, it’s a good time to be alive. After all, Coles supermarkets across Australia are carrying the new Toblerone Cheesecake frozen dessert. Now if that’s not a reason to be excited about life, what is?

The Toblerone cheesecake features a sweet centre on a chocolate biscuit base. Food bloggers on Instagram, @foodfindesgeelong, are already hailing this treat as a win, giving it an 8 out of 10. “The topping generally tastes like a Toblerone but when eaten all together it does get lost as the biscuit base does overpower it,” wrote one food blogger. “In saying that, the biscuit base is delicious and blends perfectly with semi-sweet centre and again really good for a frozen cheesecake.” The new dessert is a follow-up to the Toblerone ice cream that launched in January for $5 a pack. The Toblerone Cheesecake retails for $11.

To really get the most out of the treat, critics recommend letting it defrost a bit. “The first time I had it almost straight from the freezer (I did let it defrost a bit but still quite frozen in the middle) and then I decided to heat a slice in the microwave for about 20-30 seconds. Much better result,” say the critics on Instagram. “And the second time I kept it in the fridge all day which was really good result as well. Definitely more creamy.”

The treats are, needless to say, pretty popular and finding them might be a challenge. You can’t get them online as they are listed currently unavailable. Your best bet is to see if you can find one in a Coles store. Even if you can’t find one right away, at least you have the knowledge that they’re out there. Life won’t be complete until you try one!
