Domino’s has answered the prayers of Australian customers this week, unveiling a new cheesy Vegemite pizza. For decades, the country has proudly lathered their toast in Vegemite – much to the disgust of the international community – and now, finally making the big time, Aussies can celebrate their beloved yeast extract on a hot slice.

For a limited time only, Domino’s pizza enthusiasts will be treated to the salty, bitter taste of Vegemite with the buttery flavour of melted mozzarella. A combination that will surely spark debate, consumers now have the opportunity to put the collaborative effort to the test.
The announcement received over 30,000 likes and 12,000 comments across Domino’s social media platforms. ‘Happy Little Vegemites’ and its detractors battled it out in the comment section with the online community, as always, divided on the issue.
The new Cheesy Vegemite Pizza is now available at Domino’s Australia for AUD$7.95 and will only be delivered for three weeks or until stocks run out.
