Legendary fragrance brand Davidoff Parfums once took inspiration from the sea and the result was the unmistakably refreshing Cool Water Cologne, a perennial favourite amongst pretty much everyone since its debuted. Most recently came Horizon, which supplanted cool water with mountain air to deliver woody, spicy aromatics. Now Davidoff is returning with Horizon Extreme, which goes beyond the original profile of Horizon to inject even more power and masculinity into an already virile fragrance.
Created by master perfumers Olivier Pescheux and Jacques Huclier, Horizon Extreme will take you further along the sensory journey set forth by its predecessor. At first spray from the honey coloured bottle come top notes of rosemary and spicy ginger, both meant to invoke initial themes of fresh wind and air. The zesty opening is followed by an intense and powerful body touting notes of sandalwood and warm nutmeg, balanced by a backbone of cedarwood and amber. The result is an invigorating, layered scent big on spice and wood with subtle undercurrents of fresh herbs.
Davidoff Horizon Extreme is a liberating, limitless fragrance intended for those who live bold, proactive lifestyles. It will land in selected Myer, David Jones and pharmacy locations on May 22nd with a suggested retail price of $110 for a 125ml bottle.
