Insane Video of Mike Tyson Punching Aeroplane Passenger Goes Viral

Mike Tyson once famously said, “Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.” But after watching the clip above, the passenger in question clearly had no plan at all. Earlier today, footage surfaced online of the boxing icon laying a beatdown on a man sitting behind him on a flight. And while we never condone violence, multiple sources have come out defending Tyson, claiming he was provoked.

According to reports, the incident occurred on a JetBlue flight heading from San Francisco to Florida on Thursday (AEDT). The video posted by TMZ appears to show an intoxicated passenger annoying the 55-year-old by continually pestering him. Next, the clip shows Tyson leaning over his seat, unloading a barrage of punches on the man’s head.

A witness spoke with TMZ, saying the former heavyweight champion told the man to leave him alone, but he wouldn’t stop. Another source close to Tyson told the New York Post that the passenger was “extremely intoxicated” and “wouldn’t stop provoking him”, resulting in the physical altercation.

“My boy just got beat up by Mike Tyson,” a friend of the passenger filming the assault said from behind the camera. “Yeah, he got f***ed up.”

At this stage, US police or JetBlue airline have made no initial comment.
