The WWE’s Royal Rumble has nothing on these guys… Grab your popcorn because Netflix just released the full trailer for its explosive documentary about Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex. In the new clip (above), the couple offers more insight into their decision to step away as working royals in 2020 and dives deeper into the alleged mistreatment from both the British tabloids and their own relatives. However, it seems the internet isn’t exactly buying the sob story, roasting the couple in comment sections across social media. .

The latest trailer from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex reveals a series of hard-hitting claims that take direct aim at the Royal Family. Over an image of senior royals on the Buckingham Palace balcony, Prince Harry says: “There’s a hierarchy of the family. You know there’s leaking, but there’s also planting of stories.” He also describes the “pain and suffering of women marrying into this institution” in an apparent reference to his wife, Meghan, and mother, Princess Diana, and their experience of royal life. Then, the issue of the royals and race is raised, with a commentator saying: “It’s about hatred. It’s about race.”
“No-one knows the full truth,” Harry says in the video. “We know the full truth.”
Since being released on the Netflix Youtube channel, the trailer has garnered nearly 10,000 comments. It seems the video has fallen victim to the “I love the part” meme, with an onslaught of sarcastic jokes being made at Harry and Meghan’s expense. Below are some of the most spicey messages we’ve seen so far from different accounts.

Adding to the drama, it was recently reported that the documtentary’s original director quit on the project. A TV insider told the New York Post that The Duke and Duchess of Sussex had turned to Garrett Bradley, director of the critically acclaimed Netflix series about tennis prodigy Naomi Osaka – but they reportedly clashed over the direction of the show.
“Garrett wanted Harry and Meghan to film at home and they were not comfortable doing that,” said the insider. There were a few sticky moments between them, and Garrett left the project. Harry and Meghan’s own production company captured as much footage as they could before Liz Garbus was hired.”
The series will be released on Netflix in two volumes of three episodes, the first on 8 December at , and then a week later on 15 December.
