Nikon announced the launch of their new D810A, an ultra-high definition 36.3MP DSLR that boasts an array of features designed specifically to help hobbyist capture images of the night sky in stunning and unprecedented image quality. The camera is able to capture astronomical subjects that emit H-alpha wavelengths of light such as nebulae and other distant galaxies in red. Besides the high megapixel sensor and modified infrared filter, other features include longer exposure mode for up to 900 seconds and an unlimited continuous shooting that will last until your battery is dead or your media card is full.
