For those unaware, RadioShack was acquired by Retail Ecommerce Ventures (REV) in 2020, with the company now selling cryptocurrency in favour of electronic goods. Since declaring bankruptcy in 2015, Radioshack has been lurking under the radar but from its clear REV owners Alex Mehr and Tai Lopez are ready to put its name back at the top of mind. Understanding the key demographics of the crypto community, their Twitter account has gone rogue, posting a barrage of edgy tweets more suited to anonymous message boards.

At first, many speculated the account had been hacked due to posts such as “If you find a squirter marry her” and “I think the only person who’s serviced more customers than us over the years is @jakepaul girlfriend”. They even went after a number of fast-food chains and attacked other businesses going viral on the platform. However, we know now that it was all a play to get more eyeballs on its Radio Shack Swap ($RADIO) token.
