Does Mexican dining beat depression? Do salsa and chips help build relationships?
If you too agree that a balanced diet is a taco in each hand, you’re one among thousands stoked about the prospect of the latest vacation inspo. It’s called ‘The Bell’ and it’s a Taco Bell Hotel and Resort set to open its doors for an exclusive, extended weekend starting on August 8th until August 12th.
The taco giant is turning V Palm Springs Hotel into quesadilla heaven in the latest pop-up venture woven for the bravest hearts and biggest Bell fans.
Online booking for the unique salsa pool party started on June 27 and ended in a blink of a click as it took less than 2 minutes for all 70 rooms to sell out! With the crowd gone wild, and reservations done in short order, it was a greased lightning striking faster than your favorite burrito order.
The quickest fingers to sing up for this one of a kind guilty pleasure will be able to exclusively enjoy the max of three nights and four days in the Taco Bell-themed resort. With no nightly minimum, the room prices started at $169 per night.
Whether the guests’ idea of hitting the pool involves saucy swimwear and nacho dips or having their hands full with beef wraps, fizzy drinks, and frosty condiments while lounging in the shade, there’s no doubt this gordita weekend will be an epic experience.
Bell will debut aromatic bites made for the occasion and provide entertainment all weekend long. To make the fiesta even better, adding to its menu are fades, nail art, dive-in movies, and essential Taco merch in the Resort’s gift shops.
“This idea of allowing people to kind of fully experience and embrace and immerse themselves in every aspect of the Taco Bell lifestyle led us to the idea of doing a hotel,” said Marisa Thalberg, Taco Bell’s chief global brand officer.
Scoring high by hosting weddings in Taco Bell’s Las Vegas Cantina since 2017, prompted the company to think beyond the conventional framework of what the fast food chain could be. The success of the fast food joint made as a wedding venue was the catalyst for the latest Bell endeavor.
Jennifer Arnoldt, Taco Bell executive, added, “We’re excited to give a peek into Taco Bell’s first hotel that is truly Taco Bell luxury at a value as we evolve how fans can celebrate with the brand this summer and beyond.”
Since there are no more Bell vacancies available, until the idea of greasy vacay sees the day, all we can do is follow our hearts to the closest Taco joint and take a quick break from counting calories and busy schedules.
