Sounds too good to be true, doesn’t it? World, meet Fuji Island.
We were lucky enough to visit this photography heaven (or just actual heaven if we’re being honest) to get an exclusive first look at Fuji Island, the genius brainchild of Japanese camera giant Fujifilm. Their mission was simple; find and create the most picture perfect place on earth, and this just so happened to be in Fiji, a mere 35-minute boat ride from Momi Bay, or a 10-minute helicopter ride straight from Nadi Airport (you know, for the James Packers of the world).
For 3 months only, Fujifilm has booked out the island to give you the ultimate photography experience, whether you want to take photos or be in them. If it is the former, you will find a fully kitted out suite of the Fujifilm range at your disposal, including their brand new XT-3 Mirrorless camera, tripods set up in perfect sunrise and sunset locations, underwater cameras and all the Fujifilm Instax you could possibly dream of. If it is the latter, well, lucky you: the private island rental also includes a personal photographer on call to ensure you capture those crucial candid moments so Instagram can see the real you (insert laughing on the edge of the infinity pool with a cocktail in hand photo here).
Ok so let’s talk money. Fuji Island can host 8 guests at a time and will set you back US $2200 per couple per night with a minimum 2-night stay. We know it might sound like a lot, but really, for everything that’s included, we’re almost tempted to use the word bargain. Bargain for a luxury all-inclusive-private-island-lifestyles-of-the-rich-and-famous kind of holiday that is. After all, it is rumoured that celebrities such as Pink, Paris Hilton and even Kelly Slater have graced this little slice of paradise.

If living large on a private island sounds like your kind of getaway (which, let’s be honest, is probably around 99% of the human race), don’t wait too long to book because we have a feeling this is going to be one heck of a popular holiday.
