It’s been a tough couple of months for Victorians. From lockdowns and protests to losing their beloved AFL Grand Final to the uncouth North, there has been little for the state to look forward to. But now, wanderlust Victorians keen for an interstate holiday have an excuse to hit the road.

The Star Sydney’s new ‘$1 Border Buster’ promotion kicks off from 5pm on 23 November, and sees 100 Victorians callers offered the chance to book a $1 hotel stay in a Superior King Room at The Star Grand Hotel. The first 100 callers will be able to book one night, $1 hotel stay between 23 November and 30 December 2020. Anyone who scores the big-time deal will get to enjoy The Star’s award-winning restaurants, indulgent spa and non-stop entertainment for one buckaroo. How ridiculous.
