We featured Emirates‘ kickass new Boeing 777 first class suites when they revealed them to the public a few weeks back, but renowned YouTuber Casey Neistat‘s gone one better and taken a flight on the newly refreshed aircraft, lapping it up in what’s touted as the best first class seat in the world. The well-established vlogger already reviewed the Emirates A380 first class a while back, featured in one of our Five Vid Friday instalments, but there are a few important differences between the aircrafts.
With noticeably more room to move than most seats (mostly because you don’t get a seat, you get a suite), Neistat crawls around and checks out just how luxurious the whole schtick really is, and it looks like a pretty damn tidy affair to us. With more courses than you can poke a stick at on the menu, in-flight video call to your hostess at all times, a fully enclosed space offering total privacy and a flat bed that gets made up on demand with a mattress and duvet, no element of luxury is overlooked in the 777’s first class cabin.
While the A380 offers an on-board bar area for business and first class flyers, as well as an on-board shower for long haul flights, the 777 redesign has gone above and beyond in every other capacity (and there’s something nice and nostalgic about flying on a Boeing aircraft over an Airbus).
Now we just have to try it out for ourselves.
