Dyson’s Cyclone V10 Vacuum Could Suck the Bolts Out of a Submarine’s Hull…Possibly

Typically when we’re talking about a V10, it’s in a Lamborghini or Audi R8, but no, we’re referring to one of the world’s most powerful vacuums.

The Dyson Cyclone V10 is a cord-free vacuum equipped with the fastest and most powerful digital vacuum motor to date. It’s capable of spinning 125,000rpm at speeds of 193km/h per cyclone – there are 14 cyclones. It’s also got the most powerful suction of any vacuum in its class and is 20% more power than Dyson’s previous V8 model.

“The Dyson Cyclone V10 TM vacuum is so light, so powerful, it can deep clean anywhere in your home. It is the reason why I’ve stopped developing full-size vacuums,” says James Dyson.

It’s not only a powerful vacuum, it’s also intelligent. Cyclone V10 knows the altitude, temperature and barometric pressure. It uses this information to make minute adjustments to deliver constant performance at different air pressures.

The ‘point and shoot’ bin emptying mechanism makes the worst part of the job easy. And with 40% bigger capacity you can clean more and unload less.

The improved battery management system gives the Dyson Cyclone V10 up to 60 minutes of suction on a single charge. The moment you pull the trigger, the motor starts and accelerates to operating speed all within a fraction of a second.

There’s even another motor housed inside the brush bar. This drives the stiff nylon bristles deep into carpet pile to remove ground-in dirt, while there are also soft anti-static carbon fibre filaments to remove fine dust from hard floors.

Bottom line is this vacuum looks impressive. We were already sold on the V8 model, but with more power, better suction and improved battery life, the V10 could be to tech to convince us that it’s time to upgrade.

The Dyson Cyclone V10 cord-free vacuum launches in two models: The Absolute+ for $999 and the Animal for $899. Get sucking!
