47% of Aussies agree the bigger the coffee, the better. That’s why Nespresso built its new Vertuo machine to brew a full range of coffee sizes, everything from a shot of espresso through to a large quality mug of coffee.
Vertuo uses Nespresso’s new Centrifusion technology to rotate capsules up to 7000 RPM to enable extraction lengths to fit larger mugs. Also, the new Reverso feature adds a dash of milk to the mug before extracting coffee over the top, delivering a smooth, indulgent and creamy texture without the need for additional milk frothing.
Vertuo technology, combined with a selection of 20 new coffees, means that any coffee lover can brew their ideal cup at the touch of a button. Each of the 20 coffee variants contains a unique blend, and the barcode on the capsule is read by the Vertuo machine to ensure the perfect extraction length for that brew.
“We are expanding at home coffee options for Australian coffee lovers and delivering a range of large cup options without compromising on the taste or extraordinary quality that Nespresso is known for,” says Loïc Réthoré, General Manager of Nespresso Australia.
“We feel that Vertuo really delivers on the consumer need for coffee machines to be able to produce the full range of coffee sizes here in Australia.”
Vertuo can brew 4 sizes: Alto 414ml, Mug 230ml, Gran Lungo 50ml and Espresso 40ml. Nespresso is launching two machines: Vertuo, which includes a 1.2L water tank, and VertuoPlus, which features a moveable 1.7L water tank and electrical open and close. Nespresso Vertuo is available now and is priced from $299.
