Rapper Iggy Azalea Lists LA Home for $6.2 Million
They say that good fences make good neighbours, but sometimes even that isn’t enough, especially when it comes to celebrity homes. After just seven months of owning a sprawling home in the Hidden Hills neighbourhood of Los Angeles, Australian rapper Iggy Azalea is selling the home. According to Dirt, the move comes after Iggy tired of feuding with her neighbours, but therein lies the opportunity. You could pick up the home for USD$6.2 million (AUD$8.72 million) and join a community with the likes of Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Drake, and Madonna.

The Hidden Hills home offers 5,228 square feet of space, consisting of four bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, and a two-storey guesthouse that has its own bedroom and bathroom. There’s also a full kitchen and a spacious loft, plus a double-height living room complete with beamed and vaulted ceilings.
The house sits on 1.06 acres and includes a spacious lagoon area as well as a stone terrace and lawn. There’s also a large garage that can hold up to four cars. Finally, tucked into some trees is a full basketball court.

The home was built in 1963 and was heavily renovated by the rapper. Evidently, the feud started over the construction that Iggy was having done. A tweet from Iggy on June 3 says, “Day 1 living in my new house and my bored housewives a** neighbour already tried to snitch on me for doing construction on my own f****** home. Little does she know, f****** with her is now my new hobby and life’s work. You live next to a Gemini now sweetie. Hi, I’m petty!”
The renovation worked included work on the fireplaces, bathrooms, and closets. And if the new buyer wants, Iggy already had a permit to do work on the front façade and the interior entry, which could include a front porch. The driveway and motor court could also be remodelled. That’s if you can put up with the neighbour.
