The Montana Treehouse Retreat isn’t the ramshackle catastrophe you built as a kid in the tree in your neighbor’s backyard. This is truly a luxury retreat—a place where you can go to reconnect, relax, and recover.
The treehouse is located on seven acres of private, wooded land at the gateway to the Glacier National Park. Near Flathead Lake and Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort, there is plenty to do in the area—from golfing to fishing, whitewater rafting, boating, skiing or snowboarding, biking, and hiking.
The treehouse itself is a beautiful addition to the natural wonders of the area. The 500 square feet of living space is spread throughout the double-decker layout. The top floor features a queen size tempurpedic bed and its own deck as well as a half bathroom. The first floor, which is accessed via a spiral staircase, has a deck area and a full kitchen complete with a dishwasher and stove. The treehouse can sleep four guests (it has three sofa beds in it and the master bedroom). It also has all the amenities you’d expect, like air conditioning and heating, wireless Internet, a TV, and a workspace.
The quality of the treehouse shouldn’t be underestimated. The treehouse was featured on “The Treehouse Guys” on DIY Network for that very reason. Whether you’re planning your own Swiss Family Robinson adventure, or some special time for Tarzan and Jane, the Montana Treehouse Retreat is the idyllic setting.
