Dior Maison Halloween Homeware Collection 2021
Dior Maison is regarded as one of the best homeware labels in the world. They produce illustrious pieces that serve as decorations for some of the worlds most decorated celebrities and successful individuals. If Travis Scott was to host you for dinner, the chances are he’d be serving some organic wagyu steak with some Dior Maison cutlery.
Getting into the spooky spirit the brand has tapped in on gothic themes through collaboration with two highly-regarded industry names. Illustrative artist Pietro Ruffo and the ceramicist Jean Roger help bring the collection to life with bright orange ceramics, beautiful silverware and intricate glassware.
Alongside Maria Grazia Chiuri, Jean Roger’s ceramic pumpkins are the clear highlight of the collection. The bright orange tones are strategically juxtaposed by the gothic undertones of the glassware. We love the candlelit backdrop that defines the theme of the day – tarot card readings – serving as the muse for the entire concept. Pietro Ruffo’s plates are the underlying core additions to the collection, seen here in a monochrome palette of black and white with an alluring reference to astrology. A favourite theme of Monsieur Dior.
Materials include fine Limoges porcelain, hard-paste porcelain produced by factories in and around the city of Limoges, France with a history that dates back to the late 18th century. Equally gothic is the silverware (formal cutlery) adorned with DIOR logo’s and featuring intricate details around the shank and handle. Candles appear as props but are actually on offer from Dior Maison. The collection is available to purchase in Dior boutiques worldwide. This is Halloween done right.
Equally spooky is Drake’s $400,000 bed, you’ll want to check this one out!
