All summer long that garden hose has served you well, delivering water to your lawn and garden, and even playing a pivotal role in a few water fights. But with colder weather approaching, that hose has been messily coiled and relegated to the floor of your garage, where it will be kicked and tripped over until the weather changes. Swedish startup Garden Glory has a different idea in mind for storing your hose—the Garden Glory Hose and Antler Rack.
The rack is shaped like a set of deer antlers, with the lower prongs being used as hangers for your coiled hose. The rack is made of aluminum and painted in black, and it comes with a five year warranty. The antlers are stylish enough that they could easily be used indoors as a coat rack or as a decoration. The antlers sell for $299.
Garden Glory envisions itself as a company that is “for the glamourous people with dirty nails.” The company came about when the founder, Linda Brattlof, moved into her house in Sweden, which had a terrace and an outdoor living space. The problem, though, was the ugly, green hose with a bright orange nozzle that just didn’t fit into her plans of entertaining guests outside. Despite her efforts to find a more suitable hose, there just wasn’t one available. So she created her own company that offers a beautiful aesthetics to everyday outdoor items. Garden Glory offers hoses in several colors: Black Swan, White Snake, Candy Crush, and Gold digger to name a few. Aside from the hoses and the antler rack, you’ll also find watering cans, spades, pots, and more items being added to the lineup each year.
“We prioritize design in so many aspects of our lives, from our interiors,” notes Brattlof, “why wouldn’t we do the same with our gardens?” If you agree, then Garden Glory might just be your new favorite store.
