Martin Scorsese’s film The Wolf of Wall Street is two hours of nonstop excess—outrageous wealth, constant partying and the hottest women ever. Well, if you want to live like the Wolf of Wall Street, you can do just that if you have the cash.
The mansion where Jordan Belfort, the real-life Wolf of Wall Street, once lived was recently listed on the market. Belfort once lived in the 8,706 square-foot New York house. This is same house that was depicted in the film where DiCaprio landed a helicopter while high on a bunch of quaaludes.
The extravagant mansion was seized by the United States government in 2001 and sold to pay back some of the $110 million that Belfort owed to the victims that he defrauded. Now, the iconic home is listed on the market for $3.4 million or just over $6 million AUD.
Located in Old Brookville in Long Island, this mansion is right at home with others in the area. Old Brookville, also known as the “Gold Coast”, is a magnet for the rich and famous. No expense was spared in the construction of this unbelievable five-bedroom home. It sits on two acres and features upscale landscaping. There are multiple rooms for entertaining, which is a given knowing how hard Belfort liked to party. The mansion has a two-story grand foyer, a living room the size of a ballroom and a large gym. Other features include a three car garage, billiards room with walk-in wet bar and large inground pool and separate pool house.
