GoPro has been the must-have product for adventurous people wishing to chronicle and share their experiences. Now the video camera maker is expanding its product line to include Lifestyle Gear. “GoPro has been focused on helping people pursue active lifestyles since day one, and our expansion into categories like bags, apparel and ultra-functional accessories stay true to that,” explains Nicholas Woodman, GoPro founder and CEO. “We’re excited to bring GoPro design and versatility to a broad range of lifestyle products and offer them at very attractive prices exclusively on GoPro.com. And GoPro PLUS subscribers can get 30 per cent off all of these new products which makes for staggeringly good value.”
The new lifestyle gear line includes bags, backpacks and cases that start at AUD$19.99, clothing starting at $24.99, and other products like water bottles and floating sunglasses that start at $29.99. GoPro is starting out the release of these products with the bag line, which includes everything from backpacks to duffel bags and more. The clothing and accessories lines will be available starting August 19. The gear is available on GoPro’s web site.
First in the lineup of bags is the Stash Backpack, which features a fast-loading rolltop and lightweight construction. The Storm DRY Backpack is meant to get wet thanks to its “welded, watertight and lightweight” construction that is as “tough as nails.” For those heading out on daily adventures, the Daytripper provides hydration and padded storage for a laptop and other gear. The Mission Duffel Bag doubles as a backpack while providing plenty of room for those longer trips. And for those smaller needs, the Sling Crossbody Bag is perfect for those shorter trips—whether that be a trail run or just to the store. Finally, if you need the security of a case for your gear, you’ll want to get the Casey or the Casey LITE. Both offer a padded construction with a soft tricot lining to keep things snug and secure.
