The History Behind Steak & Blowjob Day – March 14th

By in Entertainment, Lifestyle, Outdoors on

Gentlemen of pedigree that we are, it’s not oft we rightly get the recognition we so earnestly deserve for our romantic efforts. It’s us folk who, come Valentine’s day are driving around to five different florists at 4pm, getting the right brand of smelly shit for the bathtub and spending 20 minutes on the phone to some bloke called Emilé making sure we’ve booked the same table where we shared our first ever date with our respective better halves (because you know she’s definitely remembering that kind of crap, especially if you don’t).

After all this palaver, you may find yourself feeling a bit like fellow Aussie legend and strip club connoisseur Shannon Noll, who so eloquently echoed the sentiments of Moving Pictures when he said: “what about me?”

Gents, your question has been duly answered. Welcome to Steak and Blowjob Day 2017. While I could GLADLY write 7000 words, nay, a master’s thesis on the sheer premise of this, I’m going to let you figure out what it’s all about for yourself (HINT: it’s all in the name).

If Feb 14 is for the ladies, then March 14 is for us lads. Whether your missus takes you to a spenno steakhouse and treats you to a fancy hotel hand shandy or gets her kit off in the kitchen and makes your steak while she’s starkers, this day is all about YOU. You deserve to feel special after all. This is your moment fellas. Embrace it.

If by now you’re already thinking this is the greatest idea ever (which you definitely are) then you can relish in the fact that it’s also an initiative to raise money to help fight breast cancer. A very noble cause, and one which no woman is ever going to deny supporting. A bit like pink ribbon day but instead it’s pink… You can see where I’m going with this.

With absolutely no downside to this great initiative, get on board and help fight breast cancer with some delicious devine bovine and a cheeky gobby, and give breast cancer survivors the chance to say ‘last night a BJ saved my life’.
