How much would you pay to shoot hoops with Michael Jordan or surf with Kelly Slater? Most people would pay a pretty penny to play with sporting GOATs, but there’s rarely an opportunity. However, punters can now hit the slopes with SuperPipe star Shaun White, and all you need is a cheeky USD$185,000 (AU$275,000) to participate.

The day of riding has been put together by recreation gurus Caldera House. Located in the Jackson Hole Resort base area, their range of activities includes a 4-hour Grand Teton National Park wildlife safari to playing polo with a professional, to a cooking class with physician chef Annie Fenn. Now, the most successful Olympic and X Games competition snowboarder has joined the family.
The Caldera House x Shaun White Signature Snowboarding Experience begins at the Mushroom lodge, where you’ll be kitted out in some fresh gear. Then, you’ll head out for some action on the powder for the day (just don’t try to copy any of his bone-crushing maneuvers on the ride down the mountain). From there, you’ll choose between an intimate culinary experience or an après-ski party in the Caldera member’s lounge.

While this all seems like a fairy tale for the average snow bunny, Caldera House has confirmed groups of up to six can split the bill. Furthermore, all lift tickets and a suite at the company’s chalet-style pad come included in the package. They also said groups can tailor the day of riding to their experience level and “interest”. So don’t freak out if you aren’t ready for backflips on the half pipe.
