If you haven’t heard of the James Brand yet, you’ve been missing out. They’ve been producing some of the best everyday carry knives to hit the market in quite a while. Now they’re venturing into the multi-tool market with the Ellis Multi-Tool. The Ellis will be limited to only 100 models—hence the “LTD”—and is definitely a knife you won’t want to miss.
The Ellis starts with handsome carbon fibre scales that both look good and lend a great deal of durability to the knife—what’s more, these scales are another first for the James Brand. They haven’t offered carbon fibre scales before, so it’s fitting to offer them on a limited blade.
The knife is a PVD-coated, partially serrated Sandvick 12C27 steel blade that measures 2.6 inches. The multi-tool part comes in with the hybrid screwdriver, the James Brand “All Things” scraper and pry, and bottle opener tool, which is also PVD-coated.
Fully extended, the Ellis measures 6.1 inches and weighs 2.8 ounces. A bail loop is also included for attaching the knife to your keychain or to a lanyard (an Electric Moss green Ulu bead is included with purchase). The Ellis has an ambidextrous orientation had has a nail nick opening. It’s being offered on a first come, first serve basis, so don’t waste any time picking yours up.
