At the Australian premier of the latest Bond film, Spectre, hosted by Sony on the eve of Wednesday 4 November 2015, the Aston Martin DB9 GT Bond Edition will be making its official Australian debut. On display for guests in attendance, the car should not be taken for granted. There are only 150 worldwide, and just five DB9 GT Bond Editions are going to be made for Australia with deliveries commencing immediately following the movie’s release on November 12.
The beautifully designed car is based on the recently launched DB9 GT, delivering excellent performance and luxury with a suite of impressive features that are specific to the Bond edition. The 6.0-litre V12-engined grand tourer features unique Spectre Silver paint, sterling silver Aston Martin badges front and rear, and ‘007 Bond Edition’ exterior badging. The interior evokes the movie further, featuring unique numbered sill plaques with the 007 logo, gun barrel embroidery on the 2+2’s rear seat divider and a special Bond Edition start-up screen on the new model’s AMi II touch-sensitive Aston Martin infotainment system.
The car is absurdly nice, so unique, and will make any regular driver feel as cool as Bond. It might even help you date a supermodel like he does.
