With their background being in smuggling, cigarette boats need to be fast on the water. Cigarette Racing has put out a 41’ GTR that meets and exceeds that criteria. The GTR uses the same hull as the company’s 41’ Stern Drive 1040 luxury performance craft. The GTR, however, uses a different deck. The GTR sits on an 11’ beam, which creates ample room for a rear bench seat and sun lounge. Hidden under the bench seat are coolers and storage. It can be equipped with an AC or with a generator, both of which would be located in the engine room. Additionally, the GTR comes with a cabin that has cherry wood cabinetry. The bow has plenty of seating and storage as well. The helm comes with three seats and is equipped with Garmin 8215 GMI instrument displays.
But it’s performance that defines a cigarette boat. The GTR comes with four 400 Mercury Racing Verados—you can also equip a three engine version. Depending on your set up, the GTR can accelerate to a range of 70 to 80 miles per hour. With engines up, the GTR has a draft of 34, or 24 with the engines up. It has a 350 gallon fuel capacity. Whether you’re heading to your favorite fishing spot, or racing down the coast, the 41’ GTR has you covered.
