Max Zhivov of Yacht Design Studio is regularly getting creative with his different boat designs, both for clients who want him to build or redesign a water vessel for the, and just for fun. The latter came into play with the HydroHouse, a concept that Zhivov came up with after reading about Hydroplane pilots—because that’s something you apparently do if you spend all day thinking about how to reinvent the luxury water craft. Hydroplanes, as you may or may not know, are planes that can land on the surface of the water and there seemed to be an ongoing complaint that there was not enough on-the-water parking for these planes.
Which took Zhivov down the creative rabbit hole, ultimately producing the HydroHouse HH. A houseboat, a wharf for boats and a garage all played parts in the concepting of this yacht houseboat hybrid. Not only is there the obvious parking for a Hydroplane in the front docking area, but there is also ample space to live on the water, with a full kitchen, two guest bedrooms, a master bedroom, a living room, a bathroom with a water closet and plenty of docking for boats.
Basically, when the ice caps ultimately melt one day, this will be the ultimate place to live and the world will be a little less depressing.
