Just like swans in nature, no two Nautor Swan 98 Yachts are the same. Of course each shares common characteristics, but each has details that make it unique. The Swan 98 Yacht measures 30 meters, and was designed by German Frers, with the interiors coming courtesy of Italian architect Misa Poggi. The yacht comes in one of two configurations with different interior styles, two different sail plans with two different bowsprit versions.
And then there’s the list of customization options. With so many choices, the odds of two of these beautiful crafts coming out exactly the same would be nearly incalculable.
One particular option, the choice of a telescopic keel paired with twin rudders, allows the owners of a Swan 98 to take the yacht into shallow anchorages, thanks to the shallow 3.2 meter draft. A hydraulically powered transom can also be activated to reveal a swim platform as well as a garage for a tender. The Swan 98 is powered by a 279hr Steyr main engine in addition to the square mainsail and double length bowsprit. Twin helms sit on the aft, where there is also an option for a second companionway for crew and owner to access the deck.
Delivery of the first Swan 98 is scheduled for June 2020 and is priced at just under 9 million Euro.
